Jack Kirsch #96

Hi Im Jack

I am 16 & from Gloucester, I have been racing motorcycles since the age of 8 & I currently race in the Junior Supersport class at British Superbikes.

I started riding Mini Moto within the Cool Fab British & BMB championships where he had success with some Podiums & Wins.  I moved to the Metrakit GP70 class very quickly where I adapted & progressed well in my first season on the GP70.   At the age off 12 I was also selected to try out for the British Talent Cup in 2018 which gave me my first taste of the big tracks & Bikes which I loved.

The jump from the Metrakit 70’s at Cool Fab Racing to the Thundersport Superteens series on the Aprilia RS125 was a massive challenge for me & one which I excelled at.  Qualifying at Donnington, a new series, circuit and indeed bike – my lap times were really impressive & would have been enough to run at the front of the last ever RS125 Aprilia Superteens year.  I was the fastest Aprilia on the grid by some distance.

I had two very good season’s at Bemsee in the Team Green Junior cup on a Kawaski 400 in 2020/2021 This a motorcycle championship run by The British Motorcycle Racing Club which is the oldest bike racing club in the world and one that has an amazing track record of producing top riders within the sport.  In my 2020 rookie season, I came 2nd overall in the championship & narrowly missed out on winning it in the last race of the season.   In the 2021season I put the season’s before disappointment behind me & gone one better & won the 2021 championship.  In this season I felt that I matured as a rider as I had been consistent all season with no DNF’S & a lot of podium places if the win was not possible.

I have just completed a very strong first seasons racing in the Junior Supersport Series at British Superbikes.   I was Rookie of the year with a solid top ten finish & I also achieved two podiums & a new lap record set at Thruxton.  I learned a lot this year & feel it has put me in good stead to compete for the 2023 championship.

Whenever possible I practice on my CRF150 pit bike at my local indoor & outdoor karting tracks.  I now have a Kawaski 636cc to practice on track days in the UK throughout the season & this winter I will be going to Spain on tracks such as Almeria & Cartagena for winter testing & extra track time.

Off track I am learning much about racing & the fundamentals of working with and promoting sponsors.  I have also set up my own social media platforms to help him achieve this.

Away from racing I enjoy playing football for two local teams which also helps me understand the importance of teamwork & keeps me fit as I understand that fitness plays a very important part for any elite sport.
